❋
JULY 21-26 | NEW YORK, USA
REPRESENT ENGLAND.
U10 & U12 | YOUTH WORLD CHALLENGE — NEW YORK
PLYR has been selected to represent England at the Youth World Challenge in New York this summer. This opportunity is for players who are ready to experience international football in a professional environment while continuing their development within a clear playing identity.
The Youth World Challenge brings together elite youth teams from across the world for a structured, competitive tournament designed to challenge players both on and off the pitch.
❋ THE SELECTION PATHWAY.
Selection into the England squads will take place exclusively through PLYR 90 Showcase events. These showcases allow our coaches to assess players in realistic game environments, focusing on technical quality, decision-making, game understanding and how each player contributes to the team.
Selection is based on performance within our football model, not reputation or previous experience.
❋ THE TOURNAMENT.
The Youth World Challenge will take place from 21 to 26 July at Stony Brook University in New York. The tournament is played in a 7-a-side format and guarantees a minimum of six competitive matches against international opposition. The environment is professional, well organised and designed to reflect the demands of high-level youth football.
❋ NEXT PLYR 90 SHOWCASE
The first opportunity to be considered for selection will take place on Thursday 19 February. This showcase is open to U10 and U12 players and will form the foundation of the England squads travelling to New York.
Places at the showcase are limited.
