the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Coach to take charge of one of our PLYR FC Girls Junior Premier League Warriors age groups (U13–U16). This role is ideal for a coach who’s ready to lead from the front, shape young players in a competitive environment, and be part of a forward-thinking, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and evaluate high-quality training sessions aligned with PLYR FC’s development philosophy.

  • Coach players during league matches, tournaments, and training games.

  • Provide clear technical and tactical instruction while supporting individual player development.

  • Create a positive, respectful, and hard-working team culture.

  • Deliver player feedback and support reviews with parents and club staff.

  • Collaborate with other coaches and directors to ensure a consistent coaching approach across age groups.

What We’re Looking For

  • FA Level 2 / UEFA C License (minimum) — UEFA B preferred or in progress.

  • Experience working with youth players in a competitive or academy-style setup.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • A passion for long-term player development, not just match-day results.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

  • Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications (support provided if not current).

Desirable (But Not Required)

  • Experience in the Junior Premier League or similar level.

  • Familiarity with tools such as video analysis or player performance tracking.
