the Role
We’re looking for a Lead Coach to take charge of one of our PLYR FC Girls Junior Premier League Warriors age groups (U13–U16). This role is ideal for a coach who’s ready to lead from the front, shape young players in a competitive environment, and be part of a forward-thinking, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, lead, and evaluate high-quality training sessions aligned with PLYR FC’s development philosophy.
Coach players during league matches, tournaments, and training games.
Provide clear technical and tactical instruction while supporting individual player development.
Create a positive, respectful, and hard-working team culture.
Deliver player feedback and support reviews with parents and club staff.
Collaborate with other coaches and directors to ensure a consistent coaching approach across age groups.
What We’re Looking For
FA Level 2 / UEFA C License (minimum) — UEFA B preferred or in progress.
Experience working with youth players in a competitive or academy-style setup.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A passion for long-term player development, not just match-day results.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications (support provided if not current).
Desirable (But Not Required)
Experience in the Junior Premier League or similar level.
Familiarity with tools such as video analysis or player performance tracking.
