The Opportunity.

PLYR has been selected to represent Team England at the Youth World Challenge Cup ‘26 in New York this July.

We are now identifying U10 and U12 players to form our travelling squads for this international competition.

The Youth World Challenge Cup brings together leading youth teams from 48 countries across the world. It’s an environment built for competition, development and exposure - where young players experience the intensity and excitement of international football.

The Tournament Experience.

From 21–26 July, selected players will travel with the PLYR Team England squads to Stony Brook University, New York to compete in the Youth World Challenge Cup 2026.

This is a rare opportunity to represent Team England on an international stage. Players will train, prepare, and compete in a professional tournament environment designed to challenge them and accelerate their development. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 9 competitive matches, giving every player the chance to test themselves against top international opposition.

Participation requires a player and family contribution to support the international tournament experience. This covers tournament entry, on-campus accommodation and all meals with the squad, creating a fully immersive Team England environment throughout the event. Flights and personal insurance are additional.

PLYR is committed to making this opportunity as accessible as possible. Families will have support through individual player fundraising initiatives and wider sponsorship opportunities, helping offset costs so players can focus on what matters most: competing, developing and representing Team England.

This is more than a tournament. It’s a chance to develop, compete, and represent Team England on a global stage - an experience that will stay with players for life.

Players who wish to be considered for Team England must first register their interest.

From there, selected players will be invited to attend upcoming trials where our coaches will assess players in competitive game environments before finalising the PLYR Team England squads travelling to New York.
